Reviews
- Niter kibbeh — warm it gently in the butter, never let it fry
- Doro wot, misir wot and other stews — add it with the berbere
- Crush into a spice blend
- A few leaves in a soup or sauce
- Dried leaves, Lippia abyssinica
- Net weight 100 g — enough for one batch of niter kibbeh
- Sealed to hold the aroma; keep cool, dry and out of the sun
Koseret (ኮሰረት) — dried Ethiopian herb, 100 g
The herb that makes ንጥር ቅቤ taste like home. Warm, minty, with a hint of basil and oregano — and nothing in a Dubai supermarket really stands in for it.
100 g is one batch. That's the amount you need when you've bought the butter and you're making niter kibbeh properly. Making a big batch, or stocking up? Add two or three.
